About the event
Virtual Workshop, 3 CE Credits
This workshop will provide participants with a substantive understanding about Contextual Family Therapy & Theory, the original voice in attending to issues of social-relational justice in therapy, an integrative approach that applies to working with individuals, couples, families, children, and very importantly intergenerational legacies.
This is an approach that is simultaneously simple and complex, and where almost any intervention from any theory can be applied through the contextual lens. Quite frankly it is a theory that aligns with brain-wise practices in great measure, and where whatever your theoretical leanings bend, therapists may find of value.
Participants are encouraged to read Balance in Motion: Ivan Boszormenyi-Nagy and his vision of Individual and Family Therapy (Van Neusden & Van Den Eerenbeemt).
